Weingut Niklas is a small family winery near the Austrian boarder in NE Italy. Lagrein is the boldest of two red grapes grown in the region. Its deep in color and flavors without being too acidic or tannic. Tangy dark plum, smooth texture, and umami finish. Great with braised dishes that have deep flavors.
